My girlfriend was flipping the other night and stumbled on this show. Amazing, not only did she tell her hubby that she shouldn't be married to him, she also told him she slept around. Next she says she thinks she is a good person and loses any money she had built up! Wow. How desperate are people for money and entertainment. Get a damn hobby people... Or better yet how about exercise when this show is on!

Not to put to fine a point on it, but isn't the question, "why does a television show like this even exist? and "who watches this?"
What is it about us that we enjoy and call entertainment this kind of malignancy?
Why have we become voyeurs rather than human beings?
That truly was an upsetting video, but I am wondering why I put myself through watching it when you clearly critiqued it and more or less warned me about the content. I guess I wanted to see it too. Makes me sad because most of my life I counsel sorrowful souls similar to this poor woman and I can remain unjudgemental for the most part. But the only way I can do that is through my faith and with the help of a supportive community.
I pray that those folks who become contestants and those who feel compelled to watch and sit in judgement can find something deeper and more fulfilling in their lives.
You are the lucky one because you have two families who love you to pieces and you have found that you worth and dignity in this world. No matter what you do for a living that cannot be taken from you.
